🐧 Why Puffin Portraits?
The name has absolutely nothing to do with photography - and everything to do with me.
Years ago, during a family game night, we were playing an old game called 'Compatibility'. While everyone else was matching cards to a word, I somehow turned a random handful of cards (including a puffin, an ashtray, and... honestly, I don't even remember what else) into an elaborate story. My husband's family laughed so hard that the puffin became an inside joke that's stuck with us ever since.
Looking back, it's kind of fitting. I've always been someone who sees stories in ordinary moments - and that's exactly what I hope to capture through my photography.
